BusinessShop is operated by Uleads Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect information when you use BusinessShop, which serves consumers in the United States. It is written to align with applicable US state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

Information we collect

Information you provide: when you request quotes or matches, we collect details you enter such as your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and information about your project or needs.
Automatic information: pages visited, links clicked, approximate location from IP address, device and browser information, collected via cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Tracking identifiers: advertising click identifiers (for example from Google, Meta, or affiliate networks) attached to your visit, used to attribute referrals to partners.

How we use information

To operate and improve the site and measure which content is useful.
To attribute referrals to partner providers when you choose to visit them.
To pass your request to matched providers when you explicitly ask for quotes or contact.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

When you submit a quote or contact request, we share the details you provided with the providers we match you with (typically up to four) so they can respond. We also share limited usage data with analytics and advertising-measurement vendors, and with service providers who host and operate the site on our behalf.

Some US state laws treat passing your contact details to providers in exchange for compensation as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You have the right to opt out: see Your Privacy Choices below.

Your privacy choices (California and other states)

Right to know: request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you.
Right to delete: request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
Right to correct: request that we fix inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing: tell us not to sell or share your personal information, including for targeted advertising.
Right to non-discrimination: we will never penalize you for exercising a privacy right.

We respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise equivalent rights through the same channel.

Phone and text communications

If you submit a quote request, you consent at the point of submission to be contacted by us and by matched providers, including by autodialed calls, prerecorded messages and texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can revoke consent at any time: reply STOP to any text, ask the caller to stop, or email hello@businessshop.com.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics and referral attribution. You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and opt out of interest-based advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. We use industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and we limit access to personal information to staff and processors who need it.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Third parties and changes

When you click through to a provider, that provider's own privacy policy governs the information you give them. We encourage you to read it before submitting personal details. We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
